DSW124 Introduction to Sociology 11

This course focusses on further introducing Sociology students to the Sociological discourse and practice. It unpacks the elusiveness of sociological themes and examines the different theoretical approaches and dynamics of sociology in both developed and the developing world. Throughout the course we will examine arguments advanced by some of the key sociological theories as they uncover human behavior and its causes. The course therefore helps Social Work students to embrace effectiveness through understanding human behavior and how interpret it.
