Preamble
These regulations must be read in conjunction with Women’s University in Africa General Academic Regulations for graduate Degree, hereafter referred to as the General Regulations.

To understand the concepts of e-commerce
To understand e-commerce infrastructure and strategy
To appreciate legal and ethical issues around business operations
To articulate the pros and cons of business strategies of implementing e-commerce initiatives
To appreciate the importance of the security, legal, ethical, and privacy issues and understand how they may impact a firm’s e-commerce strategy.
To appreciate business models for Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) e-commerce.
To understand the sectoral and regional differences in e-commerce applications

Employment Prospects

Human Computer Interaction
This module introduces the behavioural concepts and technology necessary to manage the design and implementation of “user-friendly” software. Students learn how to implement user-centred design which identifies the goals, tasks, and skills of the eventual end-users of the system and ensures that these are successfully considered in the development cycle.
Methodologies.
This course uses blended learning i.e. a combination of e-learning via moodle and traditional lecture delivery. Students are expected to have studied the week’s lecture content before they come to class.
